Insane is far too gentle a word for Dr. Douglas McMourning. Once a respected Guild coroner, he turned brilliance into butchery and stitched genius into horror. To him, anatomy is raw material and pain is an ingredient. Extra limbs, metal frames, vats of acid, organs rethreaded for efficiency, these are improvements. A body is simply something to be made better, louder, meaner, and very difficult to kill.
